One processing fee model

Invoicing, event ticketing, online store checkout, and crowdfunding pledges all use Andala’s platform processing fee service. Campaign-specific tier tables in config are not applied by the live fee calculator today.

Processing fee

3% + ₦100.00 (cap ₦4,000)

Default: buyer pays listed price + fee (you receive the listed amount). Or absorb the fee so buyers pay your listed price and the fee comes from your payout. Fee rates can be updated by Andala admin settings; checkout always shows the fee that applies.

Example

You list ₦10,000. Buyer pays about ₦10,400 (₦10,000 + ₦400 processing fee). You receive ₦10,000.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Are there setup fees?

No setup fee is configured in Andala’s current pricing settings to create an account or start using invoicing, events, store, or campaigns (module access permitting).

Are there monthly fees?

There is no required monthly subscription fee configured for core payment collection products (invoices, events, store, campaigns) in the current application pricing settings.

Are transaction fees charged?

Yes. A processing fee of 3% + ₦100.00 (cap ₦4,000) applies on paid collections. You choose whether the buyer pays it on top of your listed price, or you absorb it from your payout.

When am I charged?

You are not charged a separate seller subscription at checkout. If you pass the fee to the buyer, they pay listed price plus fee and you receive the listed amount. If you absorb the fee, the buyer pays your listed price and the fee is deducted from what you receive.

Are refunds charged?

Andala’s fee settings do not define a separate “refund fee.” Refund eligibility and method depend on the product (for example, wallet refunds vs guest card limitations). Confirm the flow in-product for your use case.

How do settlements work?

Successful collections settle into your Andala wallet. You can review activity and request payouts according to the payout options and rules available in your account (including any campaign payout progress unlocks for crowdfunding earnings).

Can I cancel?

You can stop creating new invoices, events, products, or campaigns at any time. There is no monthly plan to cancel for core collection tools under the current pricing model. Close or unpublish items you no longer want active.

Is there a free option?

Yes. Creating an Andala account is free. You can also collect for free tickets or ₦0 flows where the product allows them (no buyer processing fee on a ₦0 subtotal). Paid checkouts use the processing fee above.
